During a recent Florida storage auction Thomas Brasswell became the rightful owner of a series of family heirlooms dating back to the early 1800s. According to a recent MSNBC.com story, after realizing what he had purchased, Brasswell set out to find the owners of the collection, which included, among other items, birth certificates, photographs, genealogical records and a centuries-old Bible. StorageTreasures.com has also learned that with the help of a friend, Brasswell found the owner of the documents, Cynthia Snow, and has made arrangements to return them to her in the near future. Using those documents, Snow plans on writing a book to tell the story of families displaced by a Depression-era dam development project near Boston.
