As much as i hate getting involved in these petty arguments.. Lyrics are a form of poetry and free form is in that list of poetry. I have heard bands that rhyme that suck and i have heard some the do sound great.. and some that don’t sound great.. or suck. It just depends on the artist. Rhyming is not what makes a song. Its the attention the music and being able to tell the artist is actually putting their emotions and their time into the song.
