Since God couldn’t make a personal appearance, he sent the next best thing, Celtic Woman. I hope the angels can sing as good-they’re a hard act to follow. Bless our country…

It is refreshing and heartwarming to hear someone speak well of us. We beat ourselves into the ground let alone many other countries. It is good to see the Irish standing with us. God bless them.
no sadly she isnt. she left Celtic Woman. i dont want to sound to mean but she’s not coming back. But i bet a lot of CW fans want Orla back at least for one more PBS special. I’m an Orla fan and i’m still mouring her leaving even though it’s been a yr since she left.
I’m not of Irish descent. But it is inspirational to see and hear. We European Americans are overlooked. With today’s focus on political correctness and diversity, we are taught to honor Asians, Latinos, Indians, Middle Easterners, Blacks, Muslims, penguins and Aztec sun gods. Whites and Europeans are taught guilt and to be ashamed of their heritage. So Irish Americans, be proud.
I am retired USAF, I spent time in Ireland while in the service of my country. I have seen first hand the kinship of Irelands finest. I gladly share my brothership with those from this gallent band of people, the people from Ireland.
What’s wrong with all you bloody people!? It’s a fabulous song. I too served my country proudly, but we can hardly say that we haven’t made many errors. If you would study Irish culture and history, you would know: the Irish were oppressed by the English. They wanted to leave and the West (America) was a land of freedom and opportunity. It reminded us of home. All you “All-Americans” need to remember: There is no such thing as 100% American. The Irish helped to build a lot of this country!
I am an american vet of 21 years and I will still give up my life as long as It means my wife and kids and grand kids can live under the great american flag and be free. To everyone in this great big wonderful world; we ain’t perfect by a long shot, but why is it that everyone tried to takes us down===========
“FREEDOM”
pure and simple
I came here to here a song by angels, it is so great, i love these women, but we have hatred among us, this is not the time or place heitschnel1939. you lost deal with it!!!.
I must be hearing a different song, because I get out of it a much different story.
9/11 hit almost every nation in this world of ours, with grief and disbelief that there were those out there that could be so cruel, as to take innocent lives. I lost someone I knew that day.
It just so happened that person was an American and his wife was Irish, both living and working in New Zealand.
In this world of uncertainly, it’s nice to chill out and listen to such lovely and talented artists!
@billyord123 Don’t insult me. I am not American. FYI, they are singing this because it caters to a MARKET of 350 million people/drones who become teary-eyed and easy to manipulate when they hear this poorly-written song. These ladies most likely don’t give a fuck about the “freedom” that the U.S has to offer, as they come from a country that is more free than an American could even comprehend.
